Toilet Block
There are male and female toilets and hot shower facilities. Drinking water is also available.
You will need to bring your own toilet paper, cleaning equipment (brooms and mops provided). There is a sink on the outside for washing up this also has drinking water.
Campfire Circle
The site has a large campfire circle on the edge of the woods, close to the Lair. If more than one group are camping please share this facility. All unburnt wood must be returned to the woodpile.
Wooded Area
Approximately 6 1/2 acres of natural woodland with Birch and Horse Chestnut.
There is a large camp fire circle at the bottom of the zip wire.
Pond Area
Small pond area which is fed by a natural spring. Frogs, newts and other pond life can be found.
Leaders’ Retreat
There is a small secluded area behind “Murphy’s Mansion” which we have designated a leaders’ retreat. When Murphy’s Mansion is not being used (hirers have sole use of this area) then it is open to all to either run a small activity or to just get away from it all for a little while!
